Behind MAY studio stands fashion designer Štěpánka Pivcová, whose work unites craftsmanship, noble materials, and a deep understanding of the female silhouette.
A graduate of UMPRUM in Prague and HKU in Utrecht, she developed a strong foundation in garment design and aesthetic thinking.
Her experience from the women’s line at pietro filipi evolved into her own signature — defined by clarity, harmony, and attention to detail.

In her Prague atelier, she focuses mainly on the finest cashmere coats — iconic pieces embodying both elegance and endurance.
MAY studio garments are created for women who appreciate the quiet luxury of truth in materials and the strength of simplicity.

Her work has also been appreciated by the First Lady of the Czech Republic, Mrs. Eva Pavlová, for whom she designed and created the inaugural ensemble and cape.

 

 

How a Visit to the Atelier Works

Step into a space that inspires and creates beauty together with you.
You can schedule an appointment via WhatsApp.

During your personal visit to the atelier, we will explore the collection together and choose a silhouette that best reflects your character and lifestyle.

Each design can be gently adjusted – the length, neckline, or pocket detail can be refined.
Together, we will select a color from a wide range of fabrics woven by Italian mills.
Your garment will then be prepared for a fitting, during which proportions and final nuances are fine-tuned.

In approximately two weeks, your piece will be ready – either for collection at the atelier or delivery by courier.

Payment and Production

All MAY Studio garments are created exclusively in our Prague atelier, in a limited number of pieces.
Each one is the result of focused work and skilled hands that understand the craft.

Payment is made by card. Once completed, your garment is carefully wrapped and handed over for delivery in the manner you choose.
