In his interview with Honza Dědek, President Petr Pavel spoke about his journey to Prague Castle — and about the moment he was told he’d have to “throw out” his sweatpants after being elected president.

To be fair, they weren’t sweatpants… they were corduroys.

This conversation remains one of my favorites. I’m deeply grateful to the President for his patience and good humor — and for his willingness to welcome a stylist into his world, even when it meant enduring my endless notes during photo shoots about tie lengths and cuff angles.
